Great things are happening at Beaverdale Little League!

Updated Thursday May 31, 2018 by Rob Shaw.

You’ve probably noticed or heard that the South lot being resurfaced this week. Updating the parking lot is being done in partnership with Polk County and is one of many exciting enhancements coming to Beaverdale Little League this year, and in the coming months.

As another example of that partnership, Polk County Supervisor, Angela Connolly stopped by the park yesterday and presented Beaverdale Little League with a $10,000 Community Betterment Grant. Betterment grants are provided by the Polk County Board of Supervisors to enhance community projects and the quality of life within Polk County. Receiving this grant demonstrates the belief that Beaverdale Little League is making a difference in the community and we are honored by, and grateful for, that recognition.

We’ll use the funds for much-needed projects around the park, including securing new equipment to help with the year-round maintenance required to keep the fields playable during the season.

We’ll keep you posted as we make other enhancements. In the meantime, please join us in thanking Polk County for their partnership, and Supervisor Angela Connolly for making the grant possible.

Look for more news coming soon and thank as always for supporting Beaverdale Little League.
